2019 is almost end and 2020 is coming soon. We, GRS performed so far so good in 2019 with 6 new published articles. The global warming seems effect on our weather and we feel a bit strange for not winter-like weather. We had huge typhoon between last summer and autumn in Japan. They hit Kanto area and though to the north, therefore our area did not have so much trouble. However, some cities, towns, and villages in Kanto, Nagano, Tohoku areas damaged. Hope 2020 will be wonderful year for everyone.
The photo was taken at Kenrokuen in Kanazawa. You can see typical view of Japanese garden with lots of ropes. These are called "Yuki-Turi" that means ropes stretched from the top of a tree to the lower branches to prevent their breaking under heavy wet snow. When snow covers on the garden, it must beautiful. We need ordinal snow, not too much....
