GRS is a kind of unique laboratory that half of students are PhD candidates who are working in pharmaceutical companies or CRO. They work at the forefront of pharmaceuticals. Working in a pharmaceutical company is one of good future options for many of our undergraduate and master students. However, most of teachers don't know much about current status of pharmaceutical companies. My knowledge is also already old since I moved November 2013. So why don't we have a seminar by GRS's PhD candidates that will be up-to-date information? It will also great presentation training for PhD candidates. It is really killing two birds with one stone.
A PhD candidate who works in MSD gave a nice presentation the other day. He prepared well and the topic of the seminar was quite interesting for other students.
We have 6 more PhD candidates that means we have 6 more seminars. I guess younger students are lucky to have these opposites. Hope everybody learn something important and new things....
GRSのPhD学生によるセミナー第一弾。MSDに勤めるPhD学生から、薬学部ではあまり習わないような、製薬企業の経営戦略の話も含めたセミナーが行われました。2050年の医薬品業界を予想するワークショップでは、かなり悲観的な予想が多かったようですが、分かり易くかつ参加型のセミナーは、学部学生、修士学生達に好評でした。
GRSにはまだ6名のPhD学生が居ますので、彼らからも随時セミナーをやっていただく予定です。内容は毎回変わりますので、次回の開催をお楽しみに！
