The kick-off lab meeting and academic year starting party for GRS were held on the other day. As the matter of fact, Japanese academic year has been started in the beginning of April. Therefore they should be done previously, however, two teaching staffs, Naoki and I were busy for conferences or something else.....
Anyway, we could understand and share what lab member doing with their personalities, that was truly great. After the meeting, we enjoyed the party. Chatted a lot, drank a lot, and laughed a lot. Unfortunately, three members didn't manage to join the party, but it was great start for new academic year!
ようやく、キックオフとなるラボ全体ミーティングを行いました。本来であれば、新4回生が配属になった時点からできる限り間を開けずに行うべきだったのですが、常勤教員2名がそれぞれ学会に出掛けており、今になったと言う具合です。
ラボミーティングでは、各自の研究について、今までに行ったこと、課題、次月度の予定が発表され、また、今年度からGRSに加わるB4およびD1学生からは。今後の研究の抱負が発表され、様々な議論がなされました。
引き続いて行われたスターティングコンパと合わせて、各自の個性をお互いに理解する良い機会になったようです。ラボミーティング、スターティングコンパを通して行われた議論を参考し、各自の研究を再分析して、着実な実績（論文発表）に繋げるよう、頑張りましょう！
う～ん、ちょっと飲み過ぎたかな....
